STUDENT SERVICES
What should families know about meals, childcare, transportation, lost items, and other student services?
Food Service
Breakfast is available in our cafeteria before Flag Ceremony. Lunch is served every school day and includes a fresh salad bar and a choice of milk or bottled water. Snacks are also available to purchase during the lunch period. All snacks meet specific USDA guidelines for snacks sold in schools. No snack time is allowed during instructional time; students may choose to eat a snack during recess or break. Breakfast and lunch must be consumed in the cafeteria.
Legacy schools are on the National School Lunch Program. To submit your application, please visit LINQConnect.com to register. Through LINQ, you will be able to view details regarding NSLP applications, our weekly meal menus, and other important updates. It is also where you can make payments, view transactions, and transfer funds between Legacy student accounts. Funds added to Linq can be refunded at any time. For any support or questions regarding your LINQ account, please don’t hesitate to email us at food@legacytraditonal.org.
Legacy is not an allergy-free or nut-free school. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to inform the school of medically approved diet accommodations. To request a diet modification, email food@legacytraditional.org.
Cash/checks can be dropped off at our front office drop box by 9 a.m. to be deposited into your child's account before lunch service.
Lost and Found
Personal items such as jackets, backpacks, lunch totes, and water bottles that are left on school grounds are taken to the lost and found. Items left unclaimed are donated. Please mark your child’s items clearly with their name.
Student Forgotten Items Process
Items forgotten at home, such as lunch, textbooks, homework, sports equipment, or musical instruments, may be dropped off at the school and placed in a designated area with the student’s name, grade, and teacher for pick-up. The front office will contact the classroom to notify the teacher that the item has been dropped off. Legacy does not guarantee the delivery or timing thereof.
